HURON, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A former Huron pastor is facing child pornography charges following a police search of his home and church office. Authorities say Kevin W. Koester, who served at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church since 2019, is charged with two counts of manufacturing or possessing child porn. Investigators say they found two illegal images on a church computer. Koester is out on a $25,000 bond and is due back in court July 23. Church officials say they’re cooperating with investigators.
