FARMER, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The town of Farmer once again had more tractors than people this weekend as the community marked the 25th annual Antique Car and Tractor Parade. What started in 2000 with about 50 entries has grown to more than 100 tractors, cars, and vintage farm equipment, drawing nearly a thousand spectators each year. Organizers say the event makes a lot of people happy, and gets bigger every year, according to the Mitchell Republic. The parade has become a fall tradition for locals and visitors.
