MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — A local business has teamed up with the Odyssey Luxury 5 Theatre to screen an animated movie for free for families on Saturday morning.
The cinema will open its doors early at 9:30 with popcorn popping and Icees mixing at the concession stand ahead of a special 10:00 showing of Smurfs. The 2025 film sees Smurfette on a quest to save Papa Smurf from Gargamel and his similarly evil brother Razamel.
The cast includes singer Rihanna, Sandra Oh from hits like Grey’s Anatomy, Kurt Russell, and John Goodman. Tickets have been covered by Dakotaland Federal Credit Union.
The Odyssey Luxury 5 Theatre is located at 209 N. Lawler Street.
