MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — Another Corn Palace Festival is in the books after a busy weekend of music, food, carnival rides and community activities in downtown Mitchell.

The 2026 festival ran Aug. 26-30, with activities stretching along Main Street from Fifth to Ninth streets, according to the Corn Palace festival schedule.

The annual celebration marks the redecoration of the World’s Only Corn Palace and brings together entertainment, carnival rides, food and specialty vendors and agricultural exhibits.

This year’s entertainment included pop singer Andy Grammer on Friday night and country artist Cole Swindell on Saturday night inside the Corn Palace.

From the midway and festival food to live entertainment and crowds filling downtown, the weekend provided plenty of sights and sounds as another Corn Palace Festival came to a close.
