MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — A planned water shutoff will affect several blocks in Mitchell on Wednesday, Oct. 28, while crews replace two water valves at South Duff and Milan.

The shutoff is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. According to the notice, affected areas include:

  • The 900 block of South University.
  • The 900 block of Court Merrill.
  • The 300 block of Milan.
  • The 900, 1000, 1100 and 1200 blocks of South Duff.

The water interruption also will affect the new addition at Abbott House.

The intersection of South Duff and Milan will be closed during the work.
