MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) State prison offender James Traversie returned to the Rapid City Minimum Center Wednesday evening after being placed on escape status earlier in the day.
Traversie, 41, left the facility Oct. 28 to report to his assigned work release employment but did not arrive at the jobsite.
Traversie is serving sentences from Pennington County for possession of a controlled substance and from Meade County for receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle.
