MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — Cars, trucks and other unique rides will roll into Mitchell Sept. 18-20 for the 2026 301 Rodz & Ridez Car Show.
Formerly known as the Outkast Car Show, the event welcomes all makes and models and begins Friday, Sept. 18, with pre-registration at Cadwell Park from 5-7 p.m. A meal will be provided, followed by a cruise on Mitchell’s Main Street from 7-9 p.m.
Organizers are emphasizing a change for this year: registration will take place at Cadwell Park. Registration costs $25.
Saturday’s activities begin with registration at Cadwell Park from 9-11:30 a.m. The parade on Main Street begins at 11:45 a.m., followed by the car show from noon-4 p.m. Awards will be presented at 3:30 p.m.
KOOL 98.3 FM’s Chris Johnson will provide music during the event and announce the car show winners.
The car show will coincide with Oktoberfest activities in downtown Mitchell, giving visitors additional food, music and entertainment along Main Street.
The weekend concludes Sunday, Sept. 20, with doughnuts and coffee at Hitchcock Park, 1201 E. Hanson Ave., from 9-11 a.m.
