STURGIS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) South Dakota’s Attorney General says five men were arrested during a child exploitation sting at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force worked with state, local, and federal agencies in the operation, held August 1st through 6th. Four suspects face federal charges for trying to meet who they thought was a 14-year-old girl, while another faces state charges for solicitation and attempted child pornography. According to a press release, the men have been identified as Elmer Hopper of Rapid City, Beau Remington of Black Hawk, Jason Gomez of Rapid City, Joshua Allen of Hermosa, and Jackson Witte of Summerset. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley announced that five men were arrested in a child exploitation sting during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
