MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — Applications are now open for the Leadership Mitchell Class of 2026–2027, an annual program designed to develop leadership skills and strengthen community involvement.
Organized by the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Mitchell provides participants with opportunities to expand their knowledge of local industries, organizations and key community issues. The program is geared toward both emerging and established leaders looking to grow professionally while building meaningful connections within Mitchell.
Participants engage in a series of sessions that offer insight into various sectors of the local economy and community infrastructure. The program also emphasizes collaboration, networking and civic engagement, helping individuals become more active and informed leaders.
