According to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, Friday is expected to be sunny and hot, with a high near 95 degrees and heat index values potentially reaching about 103. Saturday could be even warmer, with a high near 96. Chances for showers and thunderstorms return at night, becoming more notable Sunday night. Labor Day is expected to be partly sunny and somewhat cooler, with a high near 87.
