South Dakota State Prison Offender Shane Osterkamp Dies at Mike Durfee State Prison

State prison offender Shane Osterkamp, 44, died Nov. 14 in a comfort care setting at the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield. Osterkamp had been serving sentences out of Hughes and Sully counties.

Two men were arrested in Mitchell on Monday, March 9, after authorities located a vehicle tied to a North Carolina kidnapping investigation.
