Mitchell Council to Consider Naming Beach After Late Mayor Lou Sebert

The Mitchell City Council will meet today at 6 p.m. to consider renaming Public Beach Park at Lake Mitchell to “Sebert’s Beach”, honoring former Mayor Lou Sebert, who passed away on July 27 at age 89. Sebert, a former state legislator and mayor from 2006 to 2012, is remembered for his lasting civic contributions.

NWS Confirms 3 Tornadoes Touched Down During Monday Storms
