The Mitchell Legion baseball team dropped a double-header at Watertown last night.
Jonah Schmidt started the first game with a homerun in the first inning, and Mitchell led 12-3 in the 5th inning, but Watertown came back to win by a score of 15-12. Schmidt was 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs, while Dylan Soulek went 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs.
In the second game, Mitchell scored all their runs in the first inning, and Watertown went on to win 13-3.
Post 18 is in action tomorrow in Rapid City at the Veteran’s Classic tournament. Mitchell plays Laramie, Wyoming at 9:00 am, and Fremont, Nebraska at 11:30 am.
