Mitchell boys fall to Sioux Falls Jefferson 54-45

MITCHELL — The Kernels winning streak ended at six games on Tuesday with a 54-45 loss to Sioux Falls Jefferson. Taylen Ashley led the way with 20 points for Jefferson. The Cavaliers held Mitchell to 32% shooting. Steele Morgan led the way with 14 for the Kernels. Caden Hinker scored 10.

Mitchell is 10-3 on the season and Jefferson improved to 7-6. The Kernels face Sioux Falls Roosevelt on the road on Friday. Tip-off on KMIT 105.9 FM will be at 7 p.m.
