Three intersections along Sixth Avenue in Mitchell will close next week as crews prepare for asphalt work, according to a city road closure notice.

The closures begin at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, and will remain in place until Friday, Oct. 30, 2026.

The affected intersections are Sixth Avenue and Lawler Street, Sixth Avenue and Kimball Street, and Sixth Avenue and Burr Street.

Drivers should plan alternate routes during the closures. The notice does not specify a reopening time on Friday.
