Friday, April 1 was declared Deb Brink Day in South Dakota. Brink is retiring after working for more than 40 years at LifeQuest in Mitchell. Governor Kristi Noem issued an executive proclamation, and Mitchell Mayor Bob Everson also read a proclamation at a ceremony held on Friday at the Create 401 building in downtown Mitchell. Brink was the first recipient of the South Dakota Excellence in Service Award in 1987.
