The Mitchell City Council meets at 6 PM Monday at City Hall in downtown Mitchell. The agenda includes a presentation by DWU Analytical Chemistry students on a review of potential effects of sediment removal on Lake Mitchell. Also on the agenda is a hearing and action to approve a property exchange on North Main Street involving The Scoreboard Pub and Grille and the former Northwestern Energy building. There will also be a second reading on an ordinance codifying and amending the city’s lodging tax.
