Mitchell, SD (MITCHELLNOW)
The Winner Colome Pheasants were looking to stay hot and add to their current seven game winning streak and it really doesn’t matter whether they are at home or on the road. The biggest factor in this current winning streak they are on is the fact they score early and often. The Winner Colome Pheasants jumped on the Parkston Devil Rays last night quickly in Parkston scoring two runs in the top of the second thanks to the Pheasants Austin Calhoon who drove in the first run of the game. The Pheasants offense just exploded after than as they scored four more runs in the top of the 4 then 4 more runs in the top of the eighth to win the game by the final of 13 to 1. That is back-to-back games that the Pheasants have won scoring thirteen runs as they now have an eight-game winning streak. The Pheasants Connor Hopkins picked up the win going seven innings and only allowing one run on four hits while striking out nine. Austin Richey powered the Pheasants offense going 3 for 3 at the plate while driving a run and hitting a solo blast to right field in the top of the eighth. The Winner Colome Pheasant are looking to make it nine straight tonight as the host the visiting Parkston Devil Rays in Winner starting at 8 pm.
