Mitchell Amateur Baseball

The Mitchell Aces had themselves a strong effort in this outing against the Winner/Colome Pheasants. Though it was not enough to get the win and the Pheasants won, 11-9. After a six-run third inning, Mitchell got ahead 8-0, then the Pheasants posted 11 runs in a row, including their own six-run frame in the eighth, to take a lead into the bottom of the ninth and eventually get the win. Mitchell will play again tomorrow when they host the Parkston Mudcats.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins took another close loss last night at home. They fell again to the Mariners, 6-5 and continue to struggle. They matchup again tonight at 6:40pm.

WNBA

The league had a four-game slate yesterday. Results include the Minnesota Lynx beating the Washington Mystics, 68-64, and the Chicago Sky taking down the Los Angeles Sparks, 97-86. As well as the Dallas Wings defeated the Atlanta Dream, 68-55, and the Indiana Fever got past the Seattle Storm, 94-86.

NBA

The 2025 NBA Draft is set to take place tonight and tomorrow. It starts at 7pm on ESPN/ABC both days at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The Dallas Mavericks have the top pick in this year’s draft and are expected to select Cooper Flagg with the No. 1 overall pick.
