The Minnesota Twins faced the Detroit Tigers again yesterday looking for an upset. They were able to get that upset victory, taking down Detroit by a score of 6-3. Luke Keaschall hit his first homer in the majors and Trevor Larnach also hit a homer over former teammate Chris Paddack to help the Twins get the win. The two teams will play their third game this afternoon at 12:10pm on the MLB Network.
WNBA
The Minnesota Lynx saw action last night against the Seattle Storm. It was a nice battle between the two teams and one the Lynx had to try and survive without Napheesa Collier in the lineup. They were able to do just that and took down Seattle, 91-87. They were led by Courtney Williams who had a team-high 20 points and Jessica Shepard added a 13-point & 13-rebound double-double. Minnesota won’t play again until Friday when they host the Washington Mystics on ION.
