MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The Better Business Bureau is cautioning South Dakotans to be extra careful with online car sales. Officials say if a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. The warning comes after Sioux Falls resident Mike Henriksen nearly fell victim to a scam while shopping for a used car on social media. Sellers claimed they were unloading vehicles cheaply due to divorces or moving, and all directed him to suspicious eBay links. Henriksen reached out to the South Dakota BBB, which confirmed the red flags and helped him avoid losing thousands of dollars. For more Government stories from MitchellNow.com, Click Here.
