PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The 2026 South Dakota governor’s race is getting more crowded. According to Dakota News Now, community advocate and political organizer Allison Renville announced yesterday on social media that she’s entering the race. Renville, did not list a party affiliation. In her announcement, she said her priorities include investing in education, supporting tribal sovereignty, protecting natural resources, and boosting the economy by helping small businesses.
