Mitchell

The Kernel wrestling teams will compete again Saturday morning. They’ll have themselves a Varsity Tournament at Brookings high school against Brookings and it will begin at 9am.

The Kernel gymnastics team are having their Varsity Eastern South Dakota Conference meet on Saturday afternoon. It’ll be at Aberdeen Central high school and begin at 2pm.

The Marlins hockey teams are both playing on Saturday. On the heels of their game last night, the girls will play at 4pm against Aberdeen. The boys host a pair of a games over the weekend. Saturday, they host Sioux Falls West at 8:30pm and Sunday they host Watertown at 4pm. All games will be played in the Mitchell Activities Center in the Toshiba Rink.

DWU

The Tiger track & field teams continue competition in Seward, NE on Saturday for the Concordia Classic. This is the second day of the two-day event. It will begin at 9am today.

The Tiger women’s wrestling team will compete again this Saturday in the Warrior Open. It will be in Freemont, NE in the Wikert Event Center and begin at 9am.

The Tiger basketball teams are set to host Basketball Alumni Day in the Corn Palace this Saturday. They’ll face Hastings in a doubleheader. The No. 9 women begin at 2pm and the men will start at 3:45pm.

SDSU

The Jackrabbit basketball teams are both hitting the court this weekend but against two different opponents in two different locations on Saturday. Vermillion, SD is where the Jackrabbit women will be and tipoff is set for 1pm on Midco Sports Two/Summit League Network. The Jackrabbit men are at home at First Bank & Trust Arena in Brookings, SD hosting Oral Roberts. Tipoff is at 2pm and will air only on the Summit League Network.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves will be playing again on Saturday night when they travel over to Memphis, TN to play the Memphis Grizzlies. The game will be played in FedExForum and tipoff is at 7pm on NBA League Pass.
