Mitchell Basketball
The (RV) Kernel girls basketball team is in the Class AA State Tournament again this season. They’re having a sendoff tonight at 6:15pm in front of the Corn Palace as they head to Rapid City, SD to compete for a State Championship from March 12-14.
DWU Golf
The Tiger men’s golf team continues competition today. Following day one at the Crestview Spring Invitational in Wichita, KS, here’s where they stand after the first day. The Tiger men sit in fifth as team so far. A pair of athletes are in the Top 15 individually as Dakota Munger and Peyton Betcher are both T-14th place at four over par. Start time for day two today is listed for 8am.
DWU Softball
The Tiger softball team continues play in the Tucson Invitational. They have a pair of games today against Providence (MT) at 2pm and then Dickinson State (ND) at 4:30pm.
DWU Baseball
The Tiger baseball team rounded out play at the Tucson Invitational yesterday against Division II Southwest Minnesota State. They were unable to get past the Mustangs yet again, and it ended in seven innings with a 17-0 loss. DWU is now 9-7 overall following the games in Tucson, AZ.
NBA
The Minnesota Timberwolves are back on the court tonight when they make their way to Los Angeles, CA. They’ll be playing the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena. Tipoff is set for 10pm on NBC/Peacock.
