Mitchell Softball
The Kernel softball team is looking to bounce back today. They will play against the Brandon Valley Lynx at Brandon Valley high school. JV will start at 4pm and then the varsity plays at 5:30pm.
Mitchell Golf
The Kernels girls golf team gets back to the course today. They will compete this morning at Yankton Fox Run Golf Course in a Varsity Quad and will tee off at 10am.
Mitchell Tennis
The Kernel boys tennis team are ready for play again today. They will serve it up again this evening in a Varsity Invitational against Rapid City Stevens at Sioux Park in Rapid City and start at 6pm.
Mitchell Track & Field
The Kernel track & field teams have a pair of meets listed for tomorrow afternoon. They have a Varsity Invitational against Pierre at Pierre Hollister Field at 11am and a Varsity Invitational against Mount Vernon/Plankinton at Mount Vernon high school at 1:30pm.
DWU Baseball
The Tiger baseball team will have their final series of the regular season beginning tomorrow. They will take on the Mount Marty Lancers in Yankton, SD in a doubleheader. The first pitch will be at 3pm.
DWU Track & Field
The Tiger track & field teams get back to action tomorrow. They will compete in the Drake Relays in Des Moines, IA. Start time is at 8:35am. DWU track will also compete in the Grandview Viking Classic at 11am, also in Des Moines, IA.
DWU Softball
The Tiger softball team gets back to the field this afternoon. They’ll travel to Sioux Center, IA for a doubleheader against the Dordt Defenders. The first pitch will be at 4pm.
MLB
The Minnesota Twins were unable to rally last night, and the New York Mets finally got over the hump and ended their losing streak with a 3-2 win. No multi-run innings for either team in the game and one lone error which belonged to Minnesota. The Twins are now 12-12 overall and will play the Mets again tonight at 6:10pm on MLBTV.

The Playoffs shift now to opening round Game 3’s after all second games wrapped up last night. Tonight’s games, which all air on Prime Video, include:
