The Mitchell City Council will consider several issues affecting residents Monday night, including the Mitchell Fire Station project, animal-at-large regulations, infrastructure work and city finances. The council meets at 6 p.m. at Mitchell City Hall.
The Mitchell Street Department will fog seal several roads Monday, Aug. 17. Residents should remove vehicles from affected streets by 7 a.m., turn off automatic sprinklers and prepare for temporary road closures.
Mitchell starts the work week sunny and warm before chances for showers and thunderstorms return Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will range from the upper 70s to mid-80s through Friday.
