Mitchell, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball is projected to finish Great Plains Athletic Conference play seventh this year by coaches in the league as announced this morning. The Tigers tallied 71 points for a projected seventh place finish during the 2021-22 basketball season.
Morningside University earned a total of 121 points in the preseason coaches’ poll and is picked to win the 2021-22 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Basketball Championship with 11 of the 12 available first place points.
Coach Christensen and company will tip-off their season at home on Saturday, October 30 at 2 p.m. against Dickinson State at the Corn Palace before playing all of November on the road including their thanksgiving trip to Hawaii for a pair of games.
Points were awarded on an 11-1 basis and coaches could not vote for their own team.
