SIOUX FALLS — Dakota Wesleyan led by as many as 13 points in the second half on Saturday, but Valley City State continued to chip away at the lead and ultimately prevailed in overtime 88-86. Vikings guard Jalen Addison nailed a deep, contested shot at the buzzer in overtime to give Valley City State (2-2, 0-0 North Star) the victory over DWU (2-1, 0-0 GPAC).
Ace Zorr led DWU with 25 points in the loss and shot 9-of-13 from the field. Addison led VCSU with 22.
