SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Will Pottebaum led Morningside’s offense with 18 points and all five Mustang starters scored in double digits. Nick Wittler started his first career game for DWU (2-3, 0-1 GPAC) and scored a game-high 24 points. Wittler shot 8-of-16 from the field and hit five 3-pointers.

DWU never held the lead in the game and trailed Morningside 36-24 at halftime. Morningside outscored DWU in the paint 36-12 and out-paced the Tigers in points off turnovers 18-4.

DWU has a short turnaround before returning to GPAC play on Wednesday, Nov. 17, on the road against Jamestown. Tipoff for the men’s game on Wednesday on KMIT 105.9 will be at 8 p.m.
