PIERRE, S.D. – Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot will be one of the biggest in its 20-year history.
The Mega Millions jackpot is now at $660 million, making it the third largest in the game’s history. Friday’s jackpot ranks as the ninth largest United States lottery jackpot.
The largest Mega Millions prize was $1.537 billion, which was won Oct. 23, 2018 in South Carolina. Friday’s drawing will feature the game’s biggest prize since a $1.05 billion jackpot was won Jan. 22, 2021 in Michigan.
