SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) This year’s Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle has a new winner. After sitting out last year, Chef Lance’s on Phillips is celebrating victory for its Cuban Burger. The burger featured an eight-ounce Angus patty piled high with pulled pork, raspberry barbecue sauce and Swiss cheese. Officials report the 12th annual battle turned out to be a record-breaking year for the competition. Between the 39 restaurants that competed, close to 90-thousand burgers were sold during January.
