UPDATE: Three Sixth Avenue Intersections in Mitchell Closed Oct. 26–30 and Immediate Closure of 5th and Mentzer Intersection

MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) The intersection of Fifth Avenue and Mentzer Street in Mitchell is closed effective immediately through Friday, Oct. 30, for street improvements and paving, according to an updated closure notice.

Three additional intersections along Sixth Avenue will close beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, as crews prepare for asphalt work. Those closures affect Lawler, Kimball and Burr streets and are scheduled to remain in place through Friday, Oct. 30.
