PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Governor Larry Rhoden signed 10 bills aimed at promoting economic opportunity. The bills cover a range of topics, including licensing and inspection fees for various professions, the creation of an electronic vehicle title system, and changes to trust provisions and sales tax exemptions. Governor Rhoden emphasized that these measures will help keep South Dakota’s economy growing. Notably, SB 131 and HB 1232 were signed during a ceremony in Sioux Falls as part of his Open for Opportunity tour. The governor has signed 136 bills and vetoed one during this legislative session.
