SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The suspect accused in the officer-involved shooting and pursuit in Sioux Falls last week has been charged. Authorities say Samir Albaidhani now faces one count of attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer. He also has two charges for aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer. Albaidhani allegedly fired a gun at Sioux Falls police officers last Tuesday when they attempted to take him into custody for skipping out on his parole. One officer was wounded in the shootout, but is expected to make a full recovery. The suspect was also shot by law enforcement but there’s been no update on his condition. Sioux Falls Officer-Involved Shooting Suspect Charged
Samir Albaidhani, the suspect in last week’s officer-involved shooting and police pursuit in Sioux Falls, is now formally charged.
