PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Reid Rasner, a Wyoming businessman and founder of Rasner Media, says he will tour South Dakota alongside Governor Larry Rhoden as part of his plan to potentially bring TikTok operations to the state. Rasner Media has submitted a nearly $50 billion bid to purchase TikTok amid ongoing efforts to shift the platform’s ownership away from its Chinese parent company. While specific details are still being finalized, Rasner says parts of TikTok could operate in South Dakota if the deal is approved. He emphasized a desire to share the platform’s economic benefits with multiple Mountain-Midwest states. The move comes in response to  President Trump’s directive for TikTok to sell or face a nationwide ban over security concerns. For more Government stories from MitchellNow.com, Click Here.
