PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The Sioux Falls Airport Authority hopes to start expanding its terminal this summer, one step at a time. The Authority needs about 108-million dollars to fund all of the construction that’s needed, but for now, Airport CEO Dan Letellier says they’re seeking bids to start the first phase of construction. He says the extra terminal space is sorely needed. The Airport Authority is still seeking funding to fill in the financing for the entire expansion project. The Sioux Falls Airport Authority is preparing to launch the first phase of its long-awaited terminal expansion this summer, with construction bids now being sought.
