PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Businessman and conservative PAC leader Toby Doeden has officially entered to run for governor. He’s become the second candidate in the 2026 race. He filed his paperwork last week. Doeden calls himself an unapologetic Dakota first conservative, and he plans to launch his campaign today in Aberdeen. He joins Republican representative John Hansen, who filed earlier this month. The state’s primary election is set for June of 2026.
