SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The city of Sioux Falls is placing an emphasis on the arts. It already has the Sculpture Walk, which is celebrating 30 years. And now, City Planning Arts Coordinator Maren Engel says you can expect to see other new works around the city. (:15) The wall is located at The 300 Building on Dakota Avenue if you want to take a look. Engel also says new works will be going up at Ronning and Oakview Libraries and the Perch Neighborhood Kitchen in the Cathedral District.
Sioux Falls Expands Public Art with New Installations Across the City
Sioux Falls is expanding its public art scene, building on the legacy of the 30-year Sculpture Walk. According to City Planning Arts Coordinator Maren Engel, residents can expect to see new public art installations throughout the city. A newly unveiled mural can be viewed at The 300 Building on Dakota Avenue, and upcoming works are set for Ronning Library, Oakview Library, and The Perch Neighborhood Kitchen in the Cathedral District.
