SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Downtown Sioux Falls was filled with walkers this weekend, all taking steps for suicide prevention. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention hosted its annual Out of the Darkness Walk, drawing more than 1,200 participants. Organizers say the event has already raised over $44,000 toward a $90,000 goal. The walk is part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness, support those affected, and remind people they’re not alone. For more Government stories from MitchellNow.com, Click Here.
