DWU Baseball
The No. 6 seed Tiger baseball team continued Great Plains Athletic Conference Postseason Tournament play yesterday. They began the day with a game against No. 2 seed Concordia and fell to them in seven innings by a score of 12-1. Which was their first loss, so they played later, and it ended up being against No. 3 seed Morningside, whom they beat to begin the tournament. They not only beat them but blew them out 16-5 and put the game to bed in seven innings. Now tomorrow they will play No. 2 seed Concordia again for a chance to punch their ticket to the championship game on Monday, May 4. If they lose, their season is over, but if they win they face the winner of No. 8 seed Hastings and No. 1 seed Doane. The higher seed will host the Championship game on their home field.
DWU Softball
The No. 4 seed Tiger softball team continued play in the GPAC Postseason Conference Tournament as well. It was win or go home for the Tigers today as they had to match up with No. 1 seed Midland. The Warriors held a 5-1 lead heading into the top of the seventh inning, but DWU showed signs of life and got in a pair of runs. Though they were halted and the comeback was put to rest, and the Tigers lost, 5-3. They finish their season with a new program record for wins and end their season with a 35-17 overall record and a 17-5 record in GPAC play.

The Minnesota Twins began a new series with the Toronto Blue Jays yesterday. They managed to get a win in their opening game by a score of 7-1. The two teams play again tonight at 7:10pm on MLBTV.
