MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The City of Mitchell is now accepting applications for an Off-Sale Package Liquor License. The application window is open now and closes at noon on February 10th. They’re only selling one license, and it’ll go to the highest bidder. If you’re interested, you can grab an application either at the City Finance Office or online. The price of the license is set through a sealed bid, with a minimum starting bid of $300, as required by state law. The bids will be publicly opened at the City Council meeting on February 18th.
