MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The South Dakota Highway Patrol is announcing sobriety checkpoints throughout the month of April. The department’s goal is to deter drunk driving. Checkpoints will be carried out by the SDHP and other law enforcement agencies in several counties including Davison, Meade, Minnehaha, and Pennington.
