The Kernel baseball team will host a doubleheader tomorrow afternoon. They will face Sturgis for a doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 4:30pm.
The girls varsity golf team was supposed to be in action this morning. They were scheduled to compete in a Varsity Quad at Bakker Crossing Golf Course in Sioux Falls, SD at 10am, but that has been postponed due to weather.
The Lady Kernel softball teams were supposed to be playing against Brandon Valley today, but that game has been postponed due to weather. The make-up date has not yet been determined.
The varsity boys tennis team will have a Varsity Invitational today. They will take on Rapid City Stevens at Sioux Park at 9am today.
The track & field will have a Varsity Invitational against two different teams today. They will take on Pierre at Pierre Hollister Field today at 11am and then Mt. Vernon/Plankinton at Mt. Vernon/Plankinton high school at 1:30pm.

The Tiger baseball team will see action tomorrow after a schedule change. They will compete tomorrow at 1 & 3:30pm in Mitchell at Drake Field.
MLB
The Minnesota Twins were able to come away with another win at home. They took down the White Sox by a score of 6-3. They’ll play again today at 12:10pm on MLB Network.
NBA
The NBA playoffs continued yesterday. The No. 2 seed Celtics beat the No. 7 seed Magic 109-100 to take a 2-0 series lead. Then it was the No. 1 seed Cavaliers against the No. 8 seed Heat and Cleveland won 121-112. Ending the night was the No. 2 seed Rockets vs the No. 7 seed Warriors tying the series up 1-1 after a 109-94 win by Houston.
