The Kernel baseball team will host a doubleheader this afternoon. They will face Sturgis for a doubleheader beginning at 4:30pm.
The varsity boys tennis team will have a Varsity Invitational today. They will take on Rapid City Stevens at Sioux Park at 9am today.
The track & field will have a Varsity Invitational against two different teams today. They will take on Pierre at Pierre Hollister Field today at 11am and then Mt. Vernon/Plankinton at Mt. Vernon/Plankinton high school at 1:30pm.

The Tiger baseball team will see action this afternoon after a schedule change. They will compete at 1 & 3:30pm in Mitchell at Drake Field.
Tiger track & field teams for DWU will compete in the Grandview Invite today. They will be at Grandview University in Des Moines, Iowa and will begin at 11am.
MLB
The Minnesota Twins played their final game of the series against the Chicago White Sox yesterday and fell short of the sweep. The game ended in seven innings, and it was a 3-0 shutout by the White Sox. Next, the Twins will begin a series with the Los Angeles Angels, and they’ll host them in Minnesota tonight at 6:40pm.
NBA
The NBA playoffs had some Game 3’s going on last night. It started off with a 118-116 win for the No. 3 seed New York Knicks over the No. 6 seed Detroit Pistons and now the Knicks lead the series 2-1. Then you had the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder take on the No. 8 seed Memphis Grizzlies. The Thunder managed to come back and win, 114-108 after being down as many as 29 points. OKC leads the series 3-0. The final game of the night was between the No. 5 seed Los Angeles Clippers and the No. 4 seed Denver Nuggets. It was a dominant performance from the Clippers, and they take a 2-1 series lead now after a 117-83 win.
