MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) On Thursday, a red pickup reported stolen out of Brookings County was spotted at a gas station in Mitchell. When police tried to stop the vehicle, the suspect took off, leading officers on a chase through Mitchell and into rural Hanson County. The suspect, 21-year-old Travis Bullington, eventually rammed two police vehicles before driving into a cornfield. He was arrested and now reportedly faces multiple charges, including assault on law enforcement and possession of a stolen vehicle.
