SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Nearly three years after the fatal shooting of a man in Sioux Falls, Darrian Johnson has been convicted of first-degree murder and multiple related charges. The incident happened on September 5, 2022, when police discovered Kaisean Tyler dead from gunshot wounds in an apartment. During last week’s trial, which lasted several days, multiple witnesses testified about the events of that night. In addition to the murder conviction, Johnson was also found guilty of assault involving a woman in the days leading up to the shooting.
