Mitchell
The Lady Kernels varsity golf team will get back to action tomorrow afternoon for a Varsity Dual. They will be at home hosting Yankton in the Marchand Cup at Lakeview Golf Course. They will tee off at 2pm.
The varsity boys tennis team will have their varsity ESD meet over the next two days against multiple schools. They’ll play at Watertown high school and get started at 2pm today and 8am tomorrow.
The Lady Kernels softball teams are set to play tomorrow evening here in Mitchell. They will take on Harrisburg at Cadwell Park. JV will play at 4pm and varsity will start at 5:30pm.
Dakota Wesleyan
The NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships begin tomorrow and Alison Meyerink from the Tiger golf team will be competing. She will play at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, MI. Tee off time is still TBA.
MLB
The Minnesota Twins have officially gotten the ball rolling now. They just finished up another sweep after defeating the San Franciso Giants by a score of 7-6. They have now won eight straight games and now sit at 21-20 overall. They will have today off and will return to action tomorrow against the Baltimore Orioles to see if they can pick up where they left off.
NBA
The NBA playoffs have been interesting this postseason and last night was no different. The No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder took down the No. 4 seed Denver Nuggets, 92-87 and now tied the series 2-2. Then the No. 4 seed Indiana Pacers whooped up on the No. 1 seed Cleveland Cavaliers and beat them 129-109, now taking a 3-1 lead. The Pacers led by 40 at the half. Tonight, will be the No. 2 seed Boston Celtics at the No. 3 seed New York Knicks for Game 4 at 6:30pm on ESPN. And the night will end with the No. 6 seed Minnesota Timberwolves at the No. 7 seed Golden State Warriors for Game 4 at 9pm on ESPN.
