The Lady Kernels varsity golf team will get back to action this afternoon for a Varsity Dual. They will be at home hosting Yankton in the Marchand Cup at Lakeview Golf Course. They will tee off at 2pm.

The varsity boys tennis team will have their varsity ESD meet again today. They’ll play at Watertown high school at 8am today for day two competition.

The Lady Kernels softball teams are set to play this evening here in Mitchell. They will take on Harrisburg at Cadwell Park. JV will play at 4pm and varsity will start at 5:30pm.

Dakota Wesleyan

The NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships begin today and Alison Meyerink from the Tiger golf team will be competing. She will play at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, MI. She will tee off at 1:30pm.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins will return to action tonight against the Baltimore Orioles for the second time in the last three series matchups. They will play tonight at 5:35pm in Baltimore.

NBA

The NBA playoffs saw a pair of Game 4’s last night. It started off with the No. 3 seed New York Knicks against the No. 2 seed Boston Celtics with the Knicks winning it, 121-113. New York has now taken a 3-1 series lead. Ending the night were the No. 6 seed Minnesota Timberwolves and No. 7 seed Golden State Warriors. Minnesota came out on top and defeated Golden State, 117-110 to take a 3-1 series lead. Tonight, you’ll have a pair of Game 5’s as the No. 4 seed Indiana Pacers try to close out the No. 1 seed Cleveland Cavaliers on the road at 6pm and the No. 4 seed Denver Nuggets will be at the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder at 8:30pm. Both games will air on TNT/TruTV/MAX. Additionally, last night at the Draft Lottery, the Dallas Mavericks won the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. They are projected to select Cooper Flagg from Duke with the top pick.
