Mitchell

The Lady Kernels softball team hosted Harrisburg in Mitchell last night. Mitchell couldn’t hold it together against the Tigers and fell, 18-2. The Lady Kernels won’t play again now until a week from today against Tea Area.

Dakota Wesleyan

The NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships continue today and go through Friday. Alison Meyerink continues on in these National Championships. She will continue to play at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, MI.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins were supposed to take on the Baltimore Orioles last night. The game ended up being postponed due to weather. They’ll pick things up today with a doubleheader that begins at 11:05am

NFL

The Minnesota Vikings are going to be the first team in NFL history to play consecutive international games in different countries this season. On Sept. 28 they’ll play at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The following week they’ll play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Oct. 5 against the Cleveland Browns. Minnesota is an undefeated 4-0 in London games. They will be the away team in both of these games. The NFL will release its full season schedule tonight at 7pm.

WNBA

The 2025 WNBA season kicks off Friday night with three games on the schedule! It starts with the Atlanta Dream at the Washington Mystics and the Minnesota Lynx at the Dallas Wings both starting at 6:30pm. Ending the night will be the Los Angeles Sparks at the Golden State Valkyries at 9pm. With all games available on ION and WNBA League Pass.

NBA

The NBA playoffs had Game 5’s in full swing last night. Starting with the No. 4 seed Indiana Pacers sending the No. 1 seed Cleveland Cavaliers packing after a 114-105 win. Taking the series 4-1 and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Second game of the night was the No. 1 see Oklahoma City Thunder against the No. 4 seed Denver Nuggets. It was Denver who fell short against the Thunder, 112-105.
