The Kernels varsity boys tennis team will play tomorrow. They will have their State Championships over the next two days in Sioux Falls beginning at 8am both days.
The Lady Kernels golf team is set to be in action tomorrow morning. They will travel to Brookings to play at the Brookings Country Club at 10am in a Varsity Invitational.
The Kernels track & field teams will compete tomorrow afternoon. They will be on the road in Huron at Huron Tiger Stadium beginning at 2pm.
Dakota Wesleyan
The Tiger track & field team will have athletes competing the next two days in Marion, Indiana. They will have the NAIA Outdoor National Championships for the women tomorrow and the men on Friday. Abby Magnuson will compete tomorrow, and Ethan Watson will compete Friday at the Wildcat Track & Field Complex.
MLB
The Minnesota Twins game from Monday that was supposed to continue yesterday with the Cleveland Guardians was not completed. They did not end up resuming that game and now the third game of the series originally scheduled for yesterday, has been postponed to September 20. The two teams will play against each other today at 2pm in Minneapolis, MN.
WNBA
The W had a pair of games on tap last night. First it was a dominant performance from the Las Vegas Aces as they took down the Connecticut Sun, 87-62. Then the Atlanta Dream were able to sneak past the Indiana Fever by a score of 91-90. Tonight, will be a three-game slate. The Dallas Wings are at the Minnesota Lynx at 7pm. Then two 9pm starts as the Washington Mystics visit the Golden State Valkyries and the Los Angeles Sparks play at the Phoenix Mercury. All games will be on WNBA League Pass.
NBA
The Western Conference Finals began last night. As the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder started with a 114-88 win over the No. 6 seed Minnesota Timberwolves. Tonight, the Eastern Conference Finals begin with the No. 3 seed New York Knicks hosting the No. 4 seed Indiana Pacers at 7pm on TNT/MAX.
